Refund Policy

1. EU Distance Selling — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, consumers residing in the European Union have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days of the date of purchase without giving any reason.

This right applies to all paid subscriptions to the Teeme managed platform (app.teeme.ai), including Starter, Pro, and Business plans.

2. How to Request a Refund

To exercise your right of withdrawal, send an email to [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase. Please include:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of purchase
  • Your subscription plan
  • A clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process the refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.

3. Managed Subscriptions (app.teeme.ai)

Within 14 days: Full refund, no questions asked, per EU consumer rights.

After 14 days: If you cancel your subscription after the cooling-off period, you will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your current billing cycle. For example, if you cancel on day 20 of a 30-day billing period, you will be refunded for the remaining 10 days.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the refund calculation period. You retain access to the managed platform until the end of your paid period.

4. Self-Hosted Software (Teeme CLI)

The Teeme CLI and @teeme/engine runtime are free, open-source software released under the MIT License. As no payment is collected for self-hosted usage, no refund applies.

5. Marketplace Purchases

Purchases made through the Teeme marketplace (agent templates, team rentals, integrations) are subject to the same 14-day cooling-off period for EU consumers.

Refunds for marketplace purchases are processed through the original payment method (Stripe). If you purchased a template or hired a team and wish to request a refund, email [email protected] with your order details.

Please note: the right of withdrawal does not apply to fully delivered digital content if performance began with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is lost.

6. Refund Method

All refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

7. Exceptions

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of:

  • Fraudulent activity or abuse of the refund process
  • Violation of our Terms of Service
  • Repeated subscription-and-cancel patterns designed to exploit the refund policy
